On Friday, when the Radio Mowzey’s body was taken to Kololo Airstrip for public viewing, there was a concert in his remembrance. Attendees also collected money to help in burial arrangements and his family. There was a very large box where people dropped whatever money they had.
Now Radio’s family has come out to say, the people who were responsible for monitoring the box stole part of the money.
The fallen singer’s elder brother, Frank Ssekibogo says, “We were told to leave the box in a house somewhere that there was no need of going with it to the burial grounds in Kagga. But when we came back, the money in the box was less. The security guard said the organizers we had been working with come back and opened the box.”
Adding, “The security guard said the people spent three hours inside the house where the box was kept. We are hurt.”
